Frank Forte

Frank is an accomplished designer, storyboard artist and comic book artist. Influenced by classic cartoons, comic books and old toys, Frank’s paints to get rid of pent up aggressions and fury. Wanting to bring the animated cartoon to life on the canvas, his work will never be done. Described as Tex Avery meets Max Fleischer on acid, Frank’s work has a twisted derivative style that is uniquely his own.

Frank Forte is currently working as a story artist at Sony Pictures Animation. In his spare time he draws for the Bob’s Burgers Comic Book. Some of the shows/films Frank has worked on include: Bob’s Burgers, Despicable Me 2, Lego Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Out, The Super Hero Squad Show, Marvel Heroes 4D, Lego Hero Factory, Lego Bionicle: The Legend Reborn, Frank is a regular contributor to Heavy Metal Magazine.

In Frank’s spare time he paints. He has exhibited at The La Luz De Jesus Gallery (LA, CA), CASS Contemporary (Tampa, FL), Sally Centigrade Gallery (Denver, CO), Arch Enemy Arts (Philadelphia, PA), The Gabba Gallery (LA, CA), Dream Factory Art (Frankfurt, Germany) and The Phone Booth Gallery (Long Beach, CA).
