Bern’s Winefest 2024

CASS just celebrated their 8th Haven Art Brunch for Bern's Winefest.  This year's food and wine event included a seated four-course brunch prepared by Executive Chef, Chad Johnson and his team of culinary experts, and featured Código 1530 Tequila and Perrier-louët Champagne. Bern's Family Restaurant Group commissioned CASS to select an artist to create a body of work that was unveiled at the brunch and will be permanently exhibited in the newly renovated Bern's Steakhouse Lounge.

The featured artist this year was Drew Merritt. Drew is a New Mexico artist who grew up on a cattle farm.  As a child, he began to experiment with graffiti style art. Realizing his passion for portraiture, Drew shortly perfected his craft and moved to Los Angeles, where he quickly became a sought after artist by world renowned galleries and collectors worldwide.  His large scale murals can be found in various countries and his work is exhibited in personal collections all around the world.  He has also worked on large corporate campaigns with companies such as Tesla, Sony, Virgin Hotels and UFC.

CASS' partnership for the Bern's Winefest brunch is with the Laxer Family Foundation.  The Laxer Family Foundation is a charitable foundation that provides the opportunity to raise money through events that foster a more inclusive and cooperative youth culture while cultivating the advancement of the next generation of culinary leaders through scholarships.

WATERLICHT TAMPA

A dream landscape about the power and poetry of water.

CASS was hired by Strategic Property Partners (SPP), the developer of Water Street Tampa, the live-work-play neighborhood known for its comprehensive public art program, to commission renowned Studio Roosegaarde to deliver its esteemed “Waterlicht” installation to Tampa.

Tampa was the third U.S. appearance for Waterlicht. With the support of CASS, SPP brought Daan Roosegaarde and his team of designers and engineers to Florida to highlight Waterlicht from October 27-29. The installation was extremely successful, drawing over 11,000 visitors.
